Luna discovered fish when I accidentally dropped my fish tacos on the ground. Before I could pick them up, she ran over and ate them. Since then, Luna has not missed an opportunity to eat fish. I have given her a variety of fish, but she likes salmon best.

I was introduced to salmon jerky during a trip to Seattle's Pike Place Market years ago. Unsure of the flavor, taste, and texture, I was hesitant at first to try it. After the first taste, I was hooked. I ended up buying 5 lbs of it to take home - half of which I ate on the plane. Apologies to the people sitting near me. I still think about that salmon jerky often.

So once I got the handle of making Chicken Chips, I decided to give Salmon Chips a try. I experimented and made a few batches of Salmon Chips with different combinations of source and preparation methods (e.g. farm raised, wild, frozen, fresh, etc.) I finally found the best combination.

Our Drying Process: We dehydrate all of our treats at 165 degrees Fahrenheit to kill all harmful pathogens during the drying process. The amount of time drying will change based on the product.

Storage: Keep in a cool/dry place. Our dehydrated products are free of preservatives and additives. Although it is very uncommon, bugs and mold (from added moisture) are culprits for causing trouble.

Our bagged products do great in the bag they come in. Just keep them away from wet environments and keep bags sealed when you aren't using them. For longer storage, keep products in the freezer or fridge to keep our products fresh, and away from bugs and pests that might show interest.
